    I pray that DC becomes the 51st state adding 2 more Senators. It's long past time for the Democrats to stop turning the majority of Americans cheeks to get slapped off by the greedy Republican Party and their rich donors. There just isn't a Republican Party any longer, there is only the Republican Cult of Trump party and their loyal base of white supremacists, neo Nazi's, racists, and bigots. A more shameless group of LIARS have never sat in such positions of power. Under McConnell and Trump the Republican Party practically pushed the country into another Civil War right up to inciting an insurrection to overthrow a Presidential election, and they are still at it right now in Arizona 5 months after the election.     This is what democrats do. I don’t know why this is news. Take this from a California, democrats, especially progressives, lie cheat beg barrow and steal to gain power then do the same plus change all the rules to maintain power. California has majority red counties yet democrats have a super majority in the house and state senate, own the governors office and the courts. In California it isn’t a two party system as you don’t have to have a Republican nominee for governor, you can have two democrats.
