Just my personal opinion, but I’m starting to get tired of brands giving their products hyper sexualised names. I’m the furthest thing from conservative but it’s gross and uncalled for. Especially considering how much teenagers and young people have gotten into makeup. Let’s be real most young people quickly move on from Claire’s makeup these days. And I think it’s inappropriate to be exposing them to products like – Whorechatta, pussy, orgasm, swallow, dominatrix (in case you don’t believe me, I promise these are all REAL words/names used in makeup products recently) etc…

I was raised on Clinique. My mom would give my sister and I their seasonal makeup gifts every Easter, Christmas, etc. Basically quarterly. I still use their skin care but I largely moved away from their makeup once I found the YouTube makeup community.

Am I the only one who likes the idea of the Coloured Raine palette in two different format? I think it’s super cool that they’re giving people options, and they are likely doing it to get some insight into what format customers prefer. Sounds brilliant to me.

You ladies crack me up! I have the original carnival palette (honestly an amazing holy grail palette for me) and it does not swatch like that lol. It's the same formula as the carnival iii too! It's a shame because it's a gorgeous palette, the deception is just not necessary the formula is great lol and I'd recommend anyone on the fence to buy it! But yeah, the formula is actually a drier formula and not creamy and wet like it looks there. Bizarre they chose to do that, as if people aren't going to notice when they do their own swatches! Lol at the hovering finger wtf hahaha.
