Hope you enjoyed todays video! Just to clarify a couple of things – we 100% believe that this palette is cruelty free, we were just explaining the terms because from past experience we know that many people aren't aware of what P.R.C is, and aren't aware that makeup can be made in China and also be cruelty free. Secondly, the Juvia's Place website is having a 40% off sale at the moment so if you are interested in buying some of their products it is a good time to do it (we placed an order yesterday!). Lastly, we filmed this video in December but it was pushed back when we had newer release products to feature, that's why we refer to December. xo BN

Thank you so much for educating I was planning on repressing a matte eyeshadow palette with talc (the lime crime plushies) but it's not fully broken so I'm glad I watched your guys video before I destroyed a perfectly good shadow 😅😢

The brown one arrived smashed to pieces and sadly I have beige carpet. I made the mistake of contacting them to ask what to do. It's now going to cost more to get it professionally cleaned than it cost me two buy the palettes. I'm never buying their products through them again. Ice had them for over two weeks now and still don't feel like trying them after how they trea8me x

Juvia's place is a complete GARBAGE company!!! Absolutely no care for their customers !!! I'm only here to watch your video but I definitely will NOT support them !!!
I've ordered from them several times the last order I purchased with
AFTERPAY.
Even though the right address was on the package Fedex dropped the ball and delivered my package to the wrong address. FedEx told me they would pay for the package, but Juvia's Place as the SENDER had to file the claim.
Juvias place told me they were NOT going to file a claim on my behalf, even though fedex told them they would give them the money.
I have the receipts, I even have FedEx voicemail telling me they will pay for it!!
Juvia's Place is just complete GARBAGE as a company with absolutely no customer service skills !!!

If I break an eyeshadow like this, I use it as a loose pigment. You could do that next time.

I just watched the Jeffree Star alien palette make up break up video before this and the purple for that looked very similar to this. I wonder why both of them (dark more cool toned purples) both swatched much warmer on the skin!

I wonder if with the hard ones, aside from alcohol , if you also added a little glycerin or something sticky to help glue it together. Or maybe play with other mediums to turn them into liners or something? Use them to test things that are supposed to act like mac fix plus, etc.

I used to play a lot with non-newtonian fluids as a kid…and here they are! Also I'm in love with the textures in the palette!

I'm super disappointed. I've wanted a Juvia's place pallette for a while, because they look lovely and I love supporting black owned brands. But after watching this video, it seems like these pallettes just aren't very good quality. And those mattes, while pretty pigmented, looked a bit patchy. So now I'm thinking I'm going to pass on buying one of these, sadly. And them not being repressable is also concerning. Always want that option if the pallette drops and a the shadows break.
