Restaurants pay sh!t wages. You get what you pay for. That includes employees. Restaurants also have a tendency to think they own people. It's a huge part of why I got out of the industry and started my own business– too many sh!t owners, too low of wages, constant expectation that I'll work 60+ hours a week because you can't hire anyone worth a sh!t for 9$ an hour.

Yes, it’s not gonna be workers that set their worth. Most are so unrealistic. At best, if hired… oh, they don’t show up. This is very true. Real value is service. That’s what this business is based upon.

I remember when fast food jobs were part time for students, housewives or singles who could have roommates or lived at home. These jobs weren't meant for a Career. I remember, because they were for part time people….the Employer s were the ones that were flexible with the hours of the people as they had other commitments that came first. (Classes, children to pick up, family responsibilities) this part-time meant FOUR hours per day as scheduled between worker and supervisor. There were no benfits for part time, so the Employer could always have workers to fill in. Everyone got what they needed and didn't get burnt out on the BORING job by having to put in 8 or more hours a day. I'm one of those old people who remember how great that worked. We were treated like people, not their indentured slave.
There is my two cents worth of an opinion.😁🙂

They will return to work only by necessity aka no government benefits. These people milk unemployment benefits too btw
