Amusing to see (WION) India reporting incorrectly that Putin only went in to Ukraine because of NATO, when this is not what he said at all. If you look back at his statements, he believes that Ukraine is part of the Traditional Russia, established by Peter the Great and expanded by the USSR. Therefore the truth is that he went there for ego, and he lost, so India is helping him to hide his loss. Pathetic journalism, as it ignores previous statements by Putin humself

Putin should be ashamed that his Ukraine mission was hopeless failure. Is Russia a superpower is to be reconsidered. Except for nuclear capabilities, these so called superpowers are big flop in wars. It only spoils their economy. No useful activity has happened for them (Russia) but they have lost their weapons in large quantities and also military men have died. Apart from this, their supremacy has been in question now. If they can not do nay thing to Ukraine, can they do anything to any other big powers????????

NATO had nothing to do with Putin's vicious and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Greed for Ukraine's resources was one reason. Pretending to be a great leader of a great empire is another. Ukraine decided to fight for its democracy and will seek any guarantee it can to secure it. This include the support/membership of NATO (the rest of free Europe) and the EU as a trade partner. As Ukraine is not the US's puppet, it is pointless Putin negotiating with the US. Also Putin has told so many lies, most western countries consider conversing with him and his representatives pointless.

How can Russia win? If they used 15-17 million shells per two years against 3-4 millions shells of Ukraine. Ukraine this time defended country, made big army, leberate half of occupied territory. At end of year Russia will produce 2 million shells per year against 3 million west allies production. Russia had 14-16 millions shells old Soviet stoks and now they finished.

I wonder why Russia attacked Ukraine in 2014 and occupied its territories ? Russia had its own bases in Ukraine then and there were no signs of Nato back then ?
