WE FAILED… in front of super cool musicians Amy & Emma from SHEPPARD!
A big thank you to Emma and Amy from the band Sheppard for coming on our channel to try to make custom lipsticks and being great sports when the video went to shit! We had fun regardless. FYI we did test this out many times before and it worked fine, we think it failed because the bar fridge in the hotel we filmed at wasn’t cold enough. Ah well, we will try again soon!

Hey crew! Leave some love for Amy and Emma for being champions throughout this fail video, don't forget to check them out through the links in the description box and go get Geronimo stuck in your head! For anyone wondering, this was tested quite a few times with success by Kat and I however it just didn't work out on the day, we suspect a combination of inadequate heating of the lipsticks combined with not being able to cool them properly resulted in our fail, don't try this in a hotel room without a kitchen and a proper fridge! xxx

It took me a second to realize who Sheppard was, but Geronimo is one of my favorite bops! Such a catchy tune and it gets stuck in my head all the time. What a fun collab. I hope you guys get to do more!

I love you girls but you guys were talking over them so bad! I know it was probably nerve-racking and that's what a lot of us do when we're nervous I would have probably done the same thing to be absolutely honest! LOL but this video was still fun even though it was a fail 😆

I have always though you need to chill the mold in the fridge to release it or an ice bath may have worked and I believe there is a release agent that would be sprayed on molds in an industrial setting so maybe you can order it from the same place as the molds.

I've seen a few videos of people using these molds and whenever they use them, once the tube is inserted in the end of the lipstick then the rest of the mold is disassembled and popped out, so you can remove everything from the molds and then twist the lipsticks down. You could also put the mold in the freezer so it's harder and doesn't break. Maybe that could help! The video was fun to watch anyway! 😀
