I mean… I feel like trixie has been pretty vocal about her love for neutral shadows so for me, her sugar pill collab made sense. I think sometimes people think because someone’s a drag queen, all they wear is crazy colours when a lot actually wear pretty neutral shades.

Fantastic video! I did not watch your videos for a long time (reason were my time-management issues), but I got sucked back in and now that means I can watch you for hours, even if the products from the older videos are not that relevant anymore.
Also, I hate that I love JS' Eyeshadows so much. I have the Jawbreaker and the mini-Controversy and I love them, but I won't be buying his products anymore… My hopes are that he leaves the brand just like KVD did XD

the thing that bothers me about tatcha is, theyre touting to be like an asian brand using asian ingredients but this is an american brand. not even available in asia as far as i know. idk is it even asian owned? they only use asian models and it seems so weird to me.

Honestly aside from vegans KVD was for the goths. I miss the cool gothic packing and cool tone pallets and they didn't do all the neutrals like two face.

I just went on the KVD website and it seems like they're doing a rebrand, the banner on the top says KVD stands for "Kara, Veritas, Decora" (Value, Truth, Beauty) along with a sleeker looking logo. Their IG profile also has "3.03.2021" in the bio

Working at Sephora i saw so many whod laugh about the KVD name. And then voice that with how ridiculous it was, was enough to keep them from buying. Especially with packaging still having the KVD name. It felt like they tried to pull away. Yet didnt want to invest in actually rebranding.

Considering Becca going out of business I will need to find a good dupe for their brightening undereye formula. ;_; And Uncle Jeff has just gotten worse and worse and more and more desperate with each release. Actually extremely excited for the KVD beauty creme foundation in compact, because that is my FAVORITE style of foundation and every time I find a compact foundation (not powder) that I like it gets discontinued.

I know that when my skin is very dry or patchy foundation and any liquid product goes on terribly bad but a bit of tinted powder will make my skin look decently nice without showing how shitty my skin really is at that moment.

Sad about Becca because it’s the everyday people on the ground, our neighbours if you like, who will lose their income in an awful financial climate but it isn’t because of Covid-19. That’s just a convenient excuse as with many brands that are collapsing. The release of the Emperor’s-New-Clothes-Zero-Pigment products was a shocker of a release and whoever let them spend money on that should have been fired.

I could be wrong here, but I feel like the name of Trixie's palette implies that this one might be the first of a sort of line. This is Daytime Realness, so Night-time Realness could be next, who knows? Also I howled laughing at those J* lip glosses
