    Top five one week not top five another all of this after playing the grand total of eight games. Common sense still dictates amongst normal people that you get a better understanding of the league in the New Year.

    All these pundits do, and their media employers, is apply pressure to at least one poor soul of a manager or a team when the league has only been going for two minutes. These lot started all the crap on the first game of the season! "Do you think they will win it", do you think they will go down", "is the manager the right man"?

    Shocking media pushing for change in the soap opera of football. You don't see anything like this in other sports or better still anywhere outside of the Premiership.

    Roy Keane said that the worst criticism you can give a team is that they are easy to play against, and that is United.

    They are like training dummies when teams pass through them. Part of it is tactical with the wrong players in the wrong positions, the other part is character.

    Recruitment…another massive issue like it has been for years. Whoever made the decisions to sign Maguire, Sancho, Antony, Martial, and Mount and give Rashford a new contract and let De Gea and Pogba go for free – should be fired inmediately.

    it’s absurd to be making top 4 predictions so early in the season. Everything has gone wrong so far this season yet we’re only 6 points behind City. We have the talent and manager to get in to the top 4, and we saw enough from them last season to know what they’re capable of. We are very capable of finishing top 4; to predict otherwise is nonsense clickbait

    @ MultiDejohn ​ Don't get me wrong I respect what they're doing but I just think those other teams are better and/or have better squad depth. Everton beat you in the cup and you got beat in the Europa conference by LW. Plus some of those wins were against poor sides like Hibs, Burnley, Palace. you were well beaten by Liverpool and Newcastle. Great results against Chelsea and Brighton though. I think Villa will certainly be around the top 6 but unfortunately I think Chelsea will click in the end given the ridiculous money they've spent.

    Ten Hag will start to see results improve… but ONLY if he is prepared to drop Onana, Casemiro, Bruno and Rashford. Everytime he's taken them off for younger, more hungry players, United have managed to score goals.

    Gary Neville… 'Brilliant' punditry once again. Spends a great deal of time talking about how the weight of the world is on Scott McTominay being a United kid since he was 5. Oh he does this and that for Scotland. Why can't they ever refer to McTominays best season at United… Oh wait! Cos he's never been that consistent! At 27, he's supposed to be one of the leaders of the team that tracks back in the 97th minute in every match! But then Gary quickly rips through Onana who's having his first few weeks at the Club… just because its easier.

    ManUtd will be better this season, no doubt

    McTominay wouldnt get near City, Liverpool, Bayern, Barca, PSG etc. Ferguson brought him in. Stop sucking up to Ferguson. Ferguson built the club into a global power, but he is also the reason the Glazers took over and allowed United to become a bang average mid table team.

    Gary Neville is a brilliant pundit when talking about every club except United. His bias towards the underperforming British players at the club is a joke, United fans will rightly blame the players who have been their the longest as they are the players who have been stinking it up for years. He wanted De Gea gone after 6 months but De Gea went on to become one of our best players for a decade, he is now doing the same with Onana.

    Chelsea has a better chance of getting top 5 with a "run of games" when they have to face City, Arsenal, Brentford, Spurs, Brighton, but United are done when their whole backline is injured and their games coming up except for City are Sheffeild, Luton, Fulham, Everton. This kind of stupidity is the thing that annoys me.

    It's a pitty McTominay didn't get his move. If he'd gone to a West Ham or Newcastle they may have played him in his correct position. Man United are totally hamstrung by the need to play Fernandez as a 10. He can't play on the right and he can't play as an 8. So you have to play two 6's behind him. Unfortunatley McTominay is not a 6.
