Karnataka is witnessing a statewide bandh over the Cauvery water-sharing dispute with Tamil Nadu, with security measures heightened across the state.
Protesters in several parts of Karnataka are opposing the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, while stressing that they want the state’s own drinking water and irrigation requirements to be prioritised. In Koppal, protesters adopted an unusual form of demonstration by offering roses to lorry drivers heading towards Tamil Nadu.
Protest groups are also demanding long-term measures to strengthen Karnataka’s water security, including faster implementation of the Mekedatu project.
More than 50 members of pro-Kannada organisations were reportedly arrested during protests. Meanwhile, operations at Kempegowda International Airport remained normal despite the bandh.

Pakistan arrests anyone who they think insults Islam. These days Modi is implementing blasphemy laws in India too. Anyone who speaks criticizing Islam is arrested in India too under the so called Hindutva Government of Modi. The first arrest was of Nupur Sharma. Then Raja, and now Kajal Hindustani. Modi is exceeding the Congress Goverments in implementing Islamic laws in India. Hindus used to have freedom of speech during the Congress days. Now they do not have freedom of speech under Modi. Pakistan banned learning tool Wikipedia because of blasphemy content. Pakistan and Bangladesh both practice blasphemy law which is often based on rumors. Non Muslims life and property could be reduced to nothing in any moment. Even police can't protect.

Please read Hadees in Islam. It allows sex with anyone whose milk one has not taken. It allows sex with sister, daughter, aunty, even mother if one has not taken her milk. China's engineers regularly mistreat and dehumanize the workers they employ. The workers have no way to fight back since they have no legal or financial grounds to stand up to multi billion yuan companies so they pick fights like this and wait for the engineers to make blasphemous comments to get them arrested. This isn't the first time this has happened also.
