   Funny how Messi fanboys always bring up Ashley Cole, when during that era Chelsea was constantly fighting for the titles against United. Hmm 🤔 I wonder why Ashley Cole would pick Messi?

   Maybe because they were direct rivals and the guy is salty at all the Premier, FA Cup, and Champions league titles they lost to United. Any chance to get a dig at Cristiano I'd take it too!!

    CR7 literally embarrassed that guy. There are whole compilations of it on YouTube. Not surprised he chose Messi. As Mourinho said, the reason people hate CR7 is either because he destroyed you, or he's better than your favorite player.

    Never scored but assisted Iniesta's winner in SF 2009 so it means very little it's just 1of those where they're trying to sound a lot better than they are and they were flukey af in 2012.
    Also this miff that Cashley often handled CR7. He was lucky to avoid CR7 from 2009 onwards to the rest of their career's (apart from a friendly in 2013 where CR7 destroyed Cole & Chelsea again). But last few times CR7 played Cashley which is when he had started his peak he's over 4 years younger than Cole & CR7 destroyed Cashley in the CL final 2008 & the Jan2009 game ManUtd won 3-0 & Webb wrongly disallowed a valid CR7 goal but ManUtd battered Chelsea & CR7 was involved in multiple goals in that game.

    Tactical mismanagement is the reason England didn't make the most of the previous generations imo. Just hoping the current exciting crop of talent isn't wasted as well. They could potentially be even better with a proper system in place.
