There needs to be a due process. It is about financial 'fair' play after all. You can't charge Man City with 115 breaches and then take no immediate action. But then immediately charge lower clubs with lesser financial wealth. Consistency and equality is a necessity to give 'fair' regulations.

Everton broke the rules again. Ergo charged again. They should be deducted 12 points from the first charge and 6 points for the second charge (being recidivists). Then, this should sustain the legal argument for Burnley, Leeds, and Leicester suing them for 100/mil each.

I think Karveh mistakenly said that the Premier League wants to get this sorted in season. What the Premier League wants is the make sure Everton is relegated this season so they have an excuse to divert resources away from the Man city investigation so they will never be trialed

Appalling. This is double jeopardy for Everton. In Man City's case, the league are saying that sponsorship was inflated. But that is exactly what CAS acquitted them of 2 years ago. So double jeopardy again.

As a pool fan. I feel sorry for Everton, they have pumped a lot into the local area, regenerating the docks etc. Stadium expansions/ constructions shouldn't be accounted for.
