That apology isn't from the heart, you can tell it's just words no emotion to it,

If I was a Chelsea fan I'd have been very furious so for me Chelsea should send him and go for another striker…simple is that!

He will be branded forever not only at Chelsea but wherever he goes. Classic example of player with great potential average mind setup and oversized ego.
He's not big enough star or good enough player to try to blackmail any club like that. Better players tried. Respect to Tuchel for handling situation and Chelsea backing him up. Man United watch and learn.

Everybody knows he is a good player – no problem with that. He himself thinks he is CR7 or Messi. He embarrassed himself and that is all he did. This apology is not from his heart – its from a piece of paper somebody wrote for him – thanks Romelu.

Blown up way out of proportion, even tuchel thought it wasn't that bad but the media focus gave him no choice but to drop him.
Anyone who's actually listened for themselves will realise how ridiculous this whole fiasco is.

What’s he apologising for he just spoke what he felt and okay he apologised but he still won’t be fully committed because he doesn’t want to be there.

Why did he apologize when he spoke the truth about how he felt? To me he should have just leave it and move on and do the talking on the pitch

The clip shown here is just a snippet of a much longer 6 minutes interview with the club's TV channel. I recommend that true Chelsea fans watch the full thing on any of the club's socials, it'll give a better context.

All the while before the interview, Chelsea fans were praying for his recovery. Hoping that during that period, he carries Chelsea in his heart, longing to come to the pitch and deliver for The football club. All of the sudden, an interview emerges out of nowhere, time when the club going thru difficult situation. Knowing his heart and mind is elsewhere. Mistakes can be forgiven, Betrayals not. I was upset the whole week. What is the justification.?!?! Still we will forgive as long as u wear the shirt, but never forgotten.

Lukaku has already made his bed he can lie on it, very different to what did when he said he didnt like the direction of the club and the manager being fired, Lukaku first interview is what he really meant, unless youre an idiot why would you even take anything from his so called Chelsea forced apology to heart. He wants to leave bottom line, we just need goals from him in big games to be neutral with him

If you are the England captain, you can have a laugh with Gary Neville on a golf course and say you want to leave. The British press won't hound you, nor will you be forced to make a robot like apology video or have a full blown analysis on Sky Sports.

If, however, you are a Black player, and non English too, it's a totally different story.

This time last year Chelsea fans were calling Rudiger a snake. Now they adore him and recognise him as one of our best players. Football fans have short memories. If he bangs in the goals this will all be forgotten about in a season or two. If he doesn't perform then it's a different story – it'll make Chelsea fans less patient with him.
