I have been a software developer for many years now. Let me assure you that it is extremely difficult do. To me, it's just about as ignorant as saying that you can become surgeon. I hope to hear a future president say "If you are a Washington bureaucrat or member of the deep state, you can learn to code for Gods sake". Shove it right back into their faces. I know, it's just a dream… will never happen.

Huh, seems like programming will be automated fully before coal mining is fully automated

Not everyone can "program". Some people work best in general/hard labor. Plus, you need a high degree to program.

They learned, now we hired them as hackers and now it's all a secret. We learned our lesson, keep secrets. So weird how all those batteries just fall from the sky and burning the old turbines for renewables…oh wait, they can't be renewed, 20 years and then buried to seep into the water table. We are an experiment, learn it.

I just got hired as a bottom of the pole green horn. A low man on the totem pole and with my overtime it well exceeds $140,000 a year. And that's entry level. An experienced Black Hat Miner can make upwards of $180,000 a year .
Joe Biden is bout a dumbass.

Coding will be as important as learning to read and write. Basic literacy.

    There is truth in that.
    Coal is history boys. Sorry!

hes right, anyone can learn to code. coal is a dying industry, and they should get out and pick up a more relevant skill.

Thats a really bad interpretation, he meant that if they can do such a hard work of going down 400 ft in the earth, programming is a difficult field too, then they can also do it. Doesn't mean that programming and mining is easy. Disappointed.

I’d love to watch him even try to right a simple HTML document 😂 guy can’t even put together a sentence. The best thing that could have happened here is if someone did a follow up “ what is coding” question
