An emergency plenary session of the UN General Assembly is being held to discuss the conflict between Israel and Hamas as well as the circumstances in the Palestinian territory. It is not only Hamas. Until Palestinian people accept the realities on the ground, they will continue to live wretched lives. Israel is here to stay and will never go back to 1967 borders. Nor will it accept right of refugees to return. There can be a two state solution but in Israel's terms. If Palestinians accept that, eventually their lives will improve significantly. The alternative is to live horrible lives, while maintaining the rage against Zionists. Very irrational.
