If they were fighting on all fronts, it’d be good. But they’ve lost all other competititons fairly early, one cup semi final is it, I think? Not good enough.

Apart from Liverpool, Arsenal is the only team since years to compete for the title challenge with city.

Saying arsenal have had a disaster season when they get about 90 points should have you thrown in the football insane asylum

Jimmy: they never had more than a 5 point lead (in the same games played), against this outrageously well assembled man city squad, so what, dripping a few points is a disaster now? Come off it

No one even said we’d be top 4 this season so finishing 2nd to a utterly world class city team definitely wouldn’t be a awful season. Before a ball was kicked this season every arsenal fan would’ve took that. However it would be disappointing with being so close but what’s cost is mainly is the drop off in quality when the starting 11 doesn’t play. City can field 2 starting 11s near enough and we just simply can’t

Cmon, go on and win the league now @ Arsenal. We are all rooting for you. Much of the country except Man City, Tottenham and some old school Man Utd fans MAY not be lol

I am though, so cmon you Gunners. I'm rooting for you. Do it. You're excused for finishing 6th next season when we ( Liverpool ) win the title again 😀

It will be embarrassing if they don't win it. Arteta spend £278 million more than City, Liverpool, and Spurs for the past 3 transfer windows . You can't be on top of the league for almost the whole season and can't win it. Gary is trying to make amends with Arsenal fans, but deep down, he knows with the way City is playing if they beat Arsenal, which is most likely they'll I can only see Arsenal finishing 2nd imo but if Arsenal lift the 🏆 it'll be absolutely wonderful

His right it’s not a disaster if arsenal lost this title. Because our goal at the beginning wasn’t to win the league it was to get in the top 4!

Ask any arsenal fan we weren’t thinking of the league.

So the fact we got here shows our team is playing amazing.

It would be painful to miss out but not a disaster.

Although now we are in this position we must fight to win the title.

Garry is right you’re gonna have a wobble on the way to the title Arsenal dropping points ain’t a shock even when we are the best in the league. When you’re going for the title you are gonna drop points a long the way! This is normal! Of course what we mustn’t do is lose. As long as we lose less and try to win it’s the fight that will get us over the line.

Sorry but no matter what you think Arsenal deserve the league everybody else has not been as good as us.

And well I think we can still win this we will FIGHT.

Season will be seen as a failure if they don't win the league, this is their best chance. Liverpool have finished 2nd many times over the years but no one cares or remembers it as successful

How can Jimmy say its not a disaster if city don't win the league but it is if Arsenal don't win? Arsenal don't have half the squad City have or incredible players in the starting 11 like KDB or Haaland
