Since Biden took office, there seem to have been more unfavorable results in America. These results include effects on the markets, such as price declines and sharp increases in inflation, as well as bank failures. I wonder if the sudden increase in interest rates will help value investors or if it would be wiser to stay away from the stock and financial markets for the time being.

I started investing in the stock market because of dividends. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and earn more money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can pass that on to your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks over the years; I continue to buy more today and will continue to do so until the price lowers even further.

I am trying to avoid making any new buys at this point in other not to get sucked into a bear market trap. It's tough making money in stocks when institutional investors are the driving force behind the selling.. although I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist

Certainly an economist who is worried about stock market decline is an INTEREST GROUP, not an economist. Economists would worry about uncontrolled RAGING INFLATION that is burning the ordinary citizens!!!

The top 10 businesses from thirty years ago are no longer the top 10. Market leaders alter every 20 to 30 years. The SP500 takes in a wider market, pushes start-up stocks from the Russell, and NATURALLY (without liquidation or selling) establishes a stake on it over time, much as what occurred to Tesla. As long as you don't sell it, the SP500 would likely to be heavily weighted toward the best-performing equities, just like a typical portfolio. Apple makes up 7% of the index since it increased in value over time. The SP500 is a self-correcting portfolio. Facebook did go down, therefore its impact on the portfolio has decreased over time to the point that we no longer perceive it altering or having an impact. Following this principles, i have been able to amass over $800k worth of tesla shares.

I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.

Laffer not considering election fraud. If we did not have the extensive and systematic election fraud we would not have 20% inflation and endless deficit spending.

Rich people don't want the middle class buying up the slop from this financial crash, they don't want the competition. Don't listen. Buy low, sell high. If it doesn't go up you might have to wait 3-5 years, no big deal.

Maybe with that big of a deficit someone ought to think about reversing the tax cuts that were given to the rich, and also letting the air out of the grossly bloated military budget. But no, all economists can talk about is stopping payments to the poor and disadvantaged.

Dr. Laffer said that the Democrats in power now "don't have a vision for how they want the country." I disagree–they do have a vision. It is a government with them in power, and they use the product of your labor to buy it from gullible voters.
