    The guy isn't a good manager. In his managerial career…he's lost very nearly as many as he has won. Most of the Clubs he's been at he's been sacked after just one or two seasons. It's a miracle that he continues to be offered work in the PL. What's he ever done? Nice guy he seems to be (despite looking defensive before a question has been asked in every interview I've ever seen him give)…but what's he done to be considered a PL level Manager? And you can't say…he's managed clubs with no money, because look at Ole at United. I don't get what Clubs expect to get from him when they bring him in. His CV as a Manager is poor. Mark Hughes was another example..Sam Allardyce another. Do Managers like this just kind of fall through the cracks and get accepted as Managers or what?

    Absolutely feel for him here. He looks incredibly uncomfortable. Hold your head up Steve you didn't deserve the stick from the fans and the abuse the media have given you the last 10 days. One of the nice guys in Football and he'd said openly how much he loves Newcastle. He did his best with no financial backing whatsoever from the joke that is Mike Ashley.

    His skin colour tells its own story totally stressed out man, poor investment by the club, championship class injury prone players and badly treated by his own Brother Fans who should vented their anger at the board only.
    Hopefully Newcastle get some useless money grabbing Foreign Manager next.
    Have a good rest from football Stevie Bruce as you have left Newcastle a HERO! in keeping this dire club in the Premiership in 2019 – 2020 – 2021 that was a feat in itself.

    I really do feel sorry for the guy, he gets slated by groups of fans all the time along with the media, yet he tries his best and puts on a brave face, but you just know he's struggling. I wish Newcastle would get the results and Bruce will stay, but it's looking increasingly unlikely.

    I like steve bruce but have a feeling they will sack him either after the tottenham game or in the future…. not sure that its the best thing saudi arabia owning Newcastle, end of the day it was crown prince Mohammed bin salmon who had jamel khashoggi murdered and say he his behind the scenes….

    He hasn't done bad job at Newcastle, he's kept them in the PL although they've flirted with relegation.
    But he hasn't the name or reputation which will attract the world's top players to Newcastle.
    His days are numbered through no fault of his own.

    Clubs have obligations to face the media but Steve Bruce did not deserve this sort of public grilling, really unfair from the journalists. I felt sorry for him watching it but Steve did very well to keep his composure
