Elf brow products are great! I also have good brows but just need places to fill in. Their mini brow palettes match my brow hair perfectly (it looks black but it’s really dark brown). I used to use Too Faced but they discontinued the product I liked recently. Also I’m curious about the Colourpop eye primer, I agree that drugstore ones SUCK lol I love the Urban Decay primer potion. Yet the glitter primer from Nyx works great.

I actually disagree about eyeshadows! I know ColourPop has come out with a metric fuck ton of eyeshadow palettes but some of their color stories are my favorite and I find a good primer will make a decently formulated drugstore priced eyeshadow perform well. I've never tried Nars or Viseart so maybe I'm missing out but idk, this works for me!

You all are prolly right about lux eyeshadows…but I still want that $78 Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey palette. It's in my Sephora shopping cart now but I'm not buy it yet. Maybe wait for my birthday. However. I love the drugstore's Maybelline Rocket Blast mascara and Kokie's eyeliners and nail polish. I just bought a Juvia's Place foundation and Nude eyeshadow palette which I enjoy. I've been loyal to MAC foundations/concealors/eyeshadows all these years. But also just bought the following Colourpop eyeshadows: 'Ballad', 2 of the Mandalorian – The Child, and their Çabana Club palatte.
BTW, I am going to buy the MAC paintpot Soft Ochre. I love Painterly too
I was just in Ulta today and I had to STOP myself from buying more Colourpop eyeshadow. They are so pretty and eye-catching.

A lot of people rave about the essence mascaras but they have never worked for me, either they did nothing to my lashes or they just flaked and I’ve tried quite a few and they were all the same.

The only thing I do not agree with is the Double Wear being surpassed by the Revlon Super Stay. On my oily, 35 year old skin, DW is by far so much better, specially when it comes to the performance department. For me DW is not a foundation, it is the foundation and I strongly recommend it for oily skin. 😁

can you please please please help me find a dupe for jaclyn hill's hustle? I have tried several and can't find anything close and she doesn't sell the individual colors-from the 1st palette way back in the day. I love to pair hustle with warmer browns-but my god I can't find a dupe to save my life

I agree with you both on alot. The best mascara I've ever used is Bye Bye 🐼 Panda Eyes. I love that mascara!!!💗💓💗 I'm like Kat I wanna die with that stuff!!! Plus I want to Thank You for that Safari Raine palette it's so awesome!!! 😍 The only eyeliners that have worked is Essences but I'm gonna try gel liner. My eyes are just so watery. 🥺 I wanted to actually watch this that's why it's taken so long. Take care and have fun!!! 😷😎😷

My problem is certain brands remind me of certain times. 2 years ago I wore hundreds of dollars of Charlotte T and I looked amazing. But it was a bad time in my life. Now when I reach for these products it reminds me of those days and I get turned off. But why should I discard such good stuff simply because I was having a rough time with certain people in my life? I think I love to shop for new stuff because it reminds me of a new day.

I would definitely splurge. I've tried a bunch of drugstore stuff and haven't liked hardly any. Usually because of the cheap fragrance. My sensitive skin just does not jive with it. Even for lip products there hasn't been a single drugstore lipstick that really worked for me. I'd rather buy 1 charlotte tilbury lipstick and be very happy with that. I love the smell and how it wears on me personally. Also there are definitely steps I would skip so I'd feel more comfortable putting money into the products I really want.
