For all of Haaland's goals, city will not score more than 99 goals, which they did with no striker

LOL at Neville comparing him and the Man Utd right/left backs in the 90's with the amount of attacking Robertson and Alexander-Arnold do for this modern Liverpool side. The full backs are the primary source of assists for this side, being around the top of Premier League assist charts and have been for years which was never the case for Neville etc playing behind classic flank hugging wingers/wide men.

Graeme Souness is the biggest dinosaur idi*t ever on TV. Deluded, bias and bitter, the man needs an R putting in his name: Graeme SouRness, because the man is SOUR. Good riddance

You want a player that is talented and fight for your club. Not laying in the grass and moaning when things not going your way. That is Bruno Fernandes for me unfortunately.

Here is a very unlikely scenario granted, but hey just for fun here we go… Liverpool win all their remaining games. Man Utd do not gain more than 8 points from their 6 remaining games. Man Utd results – lose away to both Brighton and West Ham. Win at home against Wolves and Fulham. Draw away to Bournemouth and draw at home to Chelsea. Thus Liverpool and Man Utd finish both on 71 pts but realistically Liverpool will have a superior goal difference so will clinch the 4th spot. ..This scenario is of course discounting Brighton going on a mad run (which considering their form could indeed happen) and Newcastle imploding in their fixtures. Anyway, lots of daft and very unlikely permutations but stranger things have happened and all that!

Centerbacks levy has bought in the last 8 years: toby, rodon, romero. No wonder we concede 57 goals defending in a 541.

Tottenham have pretty much been a mess throughout my life. I'm 55.. In that time they've won like two trophies. Considering the size of the club, the money spent, the new stadium, the sense of entitlement by deluded fans…it's all pretty sad…

Gary likes talking about Pep “messing about” but he actually seems to have reinvented his tactics and formation to suit his players, in the middle of the season, and looks to be winning the league for the third successive season as a result.

I’m 42 now and in my entire lifetime, only one manager has ever won 3 English league titles in a row (Liverpool won 3 from 82-84 but with two managers) and that was Alex Ferguson (who actually did it twice – 99-01 and 07-09).

If Guardiola does manage to do it, hopefully Gary might have a more enlightened view of the tinkering.

As for Graeme Souness, you never ever come away wondering what he REALLY thought about anything – and that was his best quality.🙂✌️

Liverpool in a transition season after the mixed form for the first two thirds. Klopp looking for a system for next season, why can't these pundits see this? Won 4 and drawn 1 with this new system that Gary plainly doesn't think works!

16:50 “you’re starting to think Pep knows what he’s doing”
17:09 “Pep in the end has got there and probably knew what he had in his squad before we did.”

Astonishing the level of insight Neville provides here…

Tyler seems like a lovely man and was an iconic commentator. But it’s got to the point where his voice now grates on my ears – it’s so croaky and it’s too weak to show passion or excitement when commentating games.
