It takes a long time to recruit the right person for a job, and the hiring manager does not want to take someone on who may not want to work there for the long term.

#1. In your answer to the question, why do you want to work here, tell the interviewer you have been waiting for a position to be advertised with their company, and as soon as the job became available, you were ready to apply.
#2. You must tell the interviewer you have RESEARCHED THEIR COMPANY and you find certain things about them appealing. Those things can include their company values, their mission statement, any awards they have won for outstanding performance in their industry, their high-quality products and services, or their plans for the future.
#3. In your answer to the question, why do you want to work here, tell the interviewer you are looking for long-term employment with their company, and you plan to build a career there. If you genuinely want to work at their company for the long term, you are far more likely to get hired.
