Their responses in the Beauty Bakerie segment made me feel uneasy about watching BeautyNews. I couldn't even finish this video and haven't watched them since. I was a real fan, but the way they seem to cheer JS products on and are hypercritical of products from POC doesn't sit well with me.

The glossier "foundations" are one of those very sheer coverage sheeny/glowy foundation and its meant to give a very light later on the skin

I think nobody cared about glossiers shade range before because these products are supposed to be super light coverage, so I guess people found that 1 shade could work for multiple skin tones? But obviously some people must've said something and thats why they expanded? Or they're just doing it because it's all the rage nowadays
