If Indian media wants to bring truth, must refer to the other side of the story aswell, Abdulla Shahid was the one mJor reason y Solih lost the election. Shahid who worked for Dictators gayyoom brought nepotism and corruption and elite politics to Maldivian Democratic party and the government. Thats Y Maldivian Democratic party fall apart and a new party was formed called Democrats, they didnt supported Solih because of people like Shahid.

Muizzu's decision to befriend China, often likened to a loan shark in international relations, poses a significant risk to the Maldives. By cozying up to China, the Maldives may find itself trapped in a cycle of debt and dependency, with little control over its own fate. Such alliances could lead the Maldives down a perilous path, akin to becoming 'Chidives', subservient to China's interests and vulnerable to its predatory practices. It's imperative for the Maldives to tread cautiously and prioritize sovereignty and sustainable partnerships for its long-term well-being.
