If you think that business should only be about money, Mark's words seem absurd.
But when you think about ethics, integrity, and doing things (such as philanthropy) for the good of the community, this also can be considered by some to be good business practices just as these are things that good people do. In this sense, it is good business.

“Woke” means being alert to racial prejudice and discrimination. Making efforts to not use terms that hurt people is just good business.
In this case, if you are offended that they can’t use an image of a stereotypical black slave from an antebellum plantation on your pancake box then you might be surprised that those images still do harm to this day.
Jokes that perpetuate stereotypes are a cornerstone of comedy… it just turns out that they aren’t that funny.
Commercial brands realizing that they don’t have to perpetuate these stereotypes is good for everyone.
