Hey crew! Welcome to this week's episode of The Makeup Breakup. We hope you enjoy it. We did want address two things that are popping up in the comments:
Firstly, we are aware that Jaclyn Hill said that all the shades were pressed differently to improve the formula of each pan. We do know that re-pressing shadows can change the formula slightly, but we re-press the shadows so we can use the palette and it doesn't go to waste. Also JH failed to mention that most brands tweak the formula and pressing of each shade to get the best result from that shadow. It's not something that JH invented herself.
Secondly, this is a palette that sells out quickly and we know it is frustrating if you want to buy it. Keep an eye out on the Morphe instagram page for when the next release will be, it should be soon. Also Beauty Bay are currently taking email addresses for people who want to be notified when they are stocking the palette, which should be any day now – register interest here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/JHxMorphe?crl8_id=04f229d6-6257-4ec8-a451-ab98c6987a93 . If you want the palette, please be proactive in ordering one instead of getting upset with us for creating this video. We bought ours like any other consumer, and we re-pressed it and use it.
Lastly, for all the people wishing we did a before and after swatches, sorry we didn't think to do it because this video wasn't about testing the formula. We can confirm that these work just as well as the un-destoryed and re-pressed palette, it just doesn't look as pretty.

For these kinds of strange sizes eyeshadow pan, highly recommend u guys use the modeling clay or some sort of diy mold shit that u can find at local supermarket or art & craft store, custom made eyeshadow press 🙂

I really don't think the palette is that delicate as I have had mine for 8 months and I have dropped it, taken it on a plane, had it bashed about in my bag and it's never cracked or crumbled

That blue-green shade (second on the bottom row) is the reason I'm not going to get my security deposit back. It arrived smashed, and I didn't realize before I opened the palette. I then fumbled the whole damned palette, and the shadow went all over my beige carpet. If I had a facepalm icon, I'd insert it here.
