This is why I won’t even let a “friend” move in with me. Although I compensated her, when she helped me to clear items from the home I I inherited, she decided, on her own, that she was moving in. GIANT RED FLAG!!! There were already other red flags. But she will not be moving in with me. She is JUST THE TYPE to move in, “lose her job”, and say, “Good luck gettin’ me out!” I already have family problems. Don’t need her, too.

the fact that squatter is would put that much work into staying in a home that they don't own instead of actually trying to work, is crazy to me.
This is what the world has come to. Wrong is right, and right is wrong.

At least when it was Mexican immigrants they stood in front of a Home Depot asking for jobs, not handouts. The Venezuelans ask for handouts. They like handouts so much they should’ve stayed in communist Venezuela. After all they voted for Chavez and Maduro.

I am well aware that this could become legal in my state anytime. I don't live in a house; I live in an RV in a semi rural suburb. Hopefully this won't affect me. I feel for those who have to deal with this.

Reminds me of a situation some years ago where a friend of mine and his wife allowed her brother and his wife to stay with them. They wore out their welcome. But resisted leaving. Law enforcement said that since they were using their address as their residence they couldn't do much. Eventually and thankfully they left of their own accord.
