   They were poor but with more composure in the box and in their attacks they could have stolen the points there as they had the 2 clearest chances to score ..
   Liverpool huffed and puffed but rarely challenged Onana and the back 4 they were in control but lacked the skill to win the game
   Give United some credit went there with huge injury list and concerns of another huge defeat and dealt with the best Liverpool had with ease
   How about ex players and fan channels get behind the squad and manager instead of spreading unneeded doom and gloom

   Why Ten Haig has them passing from Onana to the defenders and back again beggers belief, its bizarre to watch. Just play it out properly or boot it up the pitch, like a normal functioning goalie does. I cannot imagine the awesome brute that was Peter Schmeichel doing what Onana does, he would boot it literally nearly the whole pitch up.

    What does Neville want? Perform and play to Liverpool’s strengths, get beat by 7 again but applaud the “effort”? Wdym that wasn’t a performance? That’s more a performance defensively than we’ve shown in a hot minute? Can’t really win here

    They were very poor because ETH knew his job was at risk, he played 3 defensive minded midfielders and often times had a back line consisting of 7/8 players, ETH didn’t play to win, he played not to get trounced as he would do if he did try play for the win.

    Nonsense. United got absolutely battered by Liverpool last season, they went into the game on a bad run of form whilst Liverpool are flying, and Ten Hag's job is hanging by a thread. A point is a great result for them, regardless of the performance.

    I agree. United couldn't put 3-4 passes together and were constantly losing the ball. It's not as if they had everybody behind the ball, they still tried to move the ball up the pitch when they had it, but they'd just lose it again in about 5 seconds.
    It's just that they weren't getting caught in out of position because they never had the ball for long enough to mount a proper attack..

    It's fine how do you play, result is important, with those long list of injuries a point is worth winning, if they lost situation could have been worse and people will be more critical.

    Gary neville is probably happy with the draw, but as a utd player, u should never be. These are standards and they have dropped if we are happy with the tie.
