   Given their hatred of us, of the country we and our forebears carved from the old wilderness, (and continue to shape to our will and our desires), given their opposition and destruction of all that we've built, all that we are, and all that we love, how can anyone ask us now to unite with them? Especially proclaiming, in the same breath, that it's for the good of the country? Our country is the hope of humanity! Our enemies are trying to snuff us out! This is a struggle. A fight. And we have to win it to survive. I do not seek union with the enemies of my country.

    When I was a kid everyone stayed up until midnight watching TV to see who won the presidential election. Here we are 2024 and we have not progressed enough to determine for weeks who won the election.
