   The middle Isles at the grocery store no longer exist to me. 1.) I can't afford it, and 2.) I don't need it. It may be "healthier right now, but its scary too" because im watching every penny and worry if there will be a day I don't have enough $$…Right On Charles!

    I’m definitely buying less food than I did 3,4,5 years ago. Restaurants are too expensive and grocery store prices make me buy more generic brands.

    Currently in Texas a family of 4 near where I live get over 900. 00 a month in SNAP. It's more than enough. The mom sells most of the benefits. 2for 1. If you give her 100.00 she will let you spend 200.00 on her benefits card. Over the years I've known of many families who do all this and most of them are all over weight. All tgey buy is junk food candy & soda. Smdh.
    Some middle class folks need a hand up when times get hard, hours get cut, unexpected expenses come about. Etc. Most people living off the system live well. Don't get it twisted. FFS. 🇺🇲

    Its going great. I always needed to eliminate junk food and stuff. Plus now i fast one full day per week sometime two. And the results are nothing less than amazing. However i eas pretty fat before the famine in USA. A child going through the same would inevitably be stunted both physically and mentally. Maybe we can help poor with children and let the single people starve. Because single adults most likely have fat stores. And we got to remember for most of human existence adults did not eat every day. Its probably healthy to mimic starvation like many are now. Also Ukraine is no longer the breadbasket. So maybe we should have thought this through a bit. Too late. Plus we have legal abortion for 50 years. Why would our government care about feeding poor people?
