Government censorship is real. But so too is self-censorship. The left has forced people who are right of center to think twice about expressing their opinions socially, amongst friends and colleagues. People are afraid to say what’s truly on their minds and either say nothing or water down their opinions. It all started with the change from “Merry Christmas” to “Happy Holidays.” So be sure to wish people a Merry Christmas.

You do realize that it is US, We the People who report the misinformation, right? The White House is not reading every comment on YT. If I see misinformation, I report it. It really is that simple. I am sick and tired of the lies and conspiracy theories being spread about covid, a deadly disease. Our country did so much better 120 years ago when it dealt with smallpox. It was eradicated because people cooperated and got the vaccine. Those who refused the vaccine were subject to a fine. It was all about educating the public about the safety of the vaccines back then, which they did with covid, but some groups were already listening to and believing (!!!) stories coming from conspiracy theorists before those stories were caught and fact-checked. YT did the right thing in keeping their platform free from the conspiracy theories!

There is a lot of furious shouting regarding "freedom to censure" due to "private companies" not subject to free speech aspects of first amendment. But when they involve so-called "de-banking" and shutting down for-profit actors that youtube, alphabet, F-book etc have a $$ relationship with, I smell a "Commerce Clause" or interstate commerce issue! There are statute restraints on private entities, anti-trust, libel etc. that should be explored against tyrannical leftists engaged in commerce which is the venue in which they operate on the internet. Take a page from the sociomarxists and their "novel interpretation" of laws as they embark upon persecution of Mr. Trump, for instance! Sauce for the gander!
