Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has returned to the country after almost 4 years of self-exile in London.
In 2019, Nawaz Sharif, convicted in multiple corruption cases, was allowed to travel abroad for four weeks for medical treatment.
When Sharif did not return, he was declared an absconder. Then-PM Imran Khan barred TV channels in Pakistan from broadcasting news on Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif has now returned for a fresh innings in Pakistani politics, will the 73-year-old be able to become Prime Minister again?

These analysts are far removed from reality! They think Nawaz is sincere to the people and the country. He went out of the country for treatment by producing false medical documents. Even now he is relying on the establishment to keep him out of jail. He was tried and convicted for corruption and should have been sent to jail straight away! We have a weak and corrupt system so he is escaping jail. Travesty of Justice!

Now that the rest of the Sharief syndicate has been proven crooks or bumbling idiots, he is betting on his son in law, who is trying to sell the dream of promoting Gazwa- E Hind to illiterates, and betting this is the next money spinner for the clan.
