   If they enter the championship its very easy to get sucked further down the pipe. Who knows, in 3 or 4 seasons they could be in league 1 that's how serious it is for them.
   Look at Blackburn, Leeds, Newcastle.. It's a long way back for them if they don't find the club spirit very soon!

    Don’t whine. It’s unbecoming. When Everton had David Moyes, it was an excellent club. Money doesn’t buy trophies. Toffees need a Klopp. It’s like a rudderless club. Chasing success like Newcastle. Cherish what you had. What can Frank do? He has never managed a club from the bottom divisions.

    Benitez somehow managed newcastle, a championship team in the PL, under a tight budget, to 10th place. I was sure he ould have done the same thing at everton

    Why isn’t Nathan Patterson getting minutes, signed to take over sheamus Coleman but there just relying on him too much, Nathan has a great engine and would give 100% every time he steps on the pitch

    Everton have made a mistake in bringing in Lampard. Bringing in Benitez was itself a mistake – though he had absolutely everything they needed, the fans could never look past his history, and at the first sign of trouble they pulled the plug on him. But then Everton had a problem, in that the fans (and players) had revolted against exactly the kind of figure they needed to survive. So in comes the popular appointment, and he’s terminally unsuited to the task at hand.

    Everybody can’t be a free-flowing attacking team in the Premier League, with a possession game and high defensive line to counter-press. Teams go down every year playing that way: Fulham, Norwich, Bournemouth etc. Capable against one big result per season (Norwich vs City, Bournemouth vs Chelsea, Fulham vs Liverpool) but not of staying up. Teams like Burnley, Newcastle under Benitez, Palace under Hodgson stay up.

    As for the wider project, I’ve always thought Everton should be trying to emulate Atletico Madrid. They set up to be perennial underdogs, outwork the opposition, upset the big teams, amazing atmosphere at games, grinding out famous results year after year…even some big trophies along the way. Superstar players come and go, but stalwart characters and a Messianic head coach remain for continuity. Some years might be disappointing, others exhilarating. Atletico fans don’t need to protest their ownership or boo their players, the stadium is always full, the game at the weekend is something to look forward to…why try and be a second rate Barcelona when you can be the Scouse Atletico? If Everton miraculously stay up, they could do a lot worse.

    I really don’t know why Keane, Coleman, Mina, are still starting even more crazy Mina is our highest paid player it’s ridiculous if we get relegated I hope it’s a lesson for Everton to stop wasting money on players who don’t preform.
