The Fed needs to lower interest rates to save the housing market. The Fed also needs to keep rates high to reign in inflation. Meanwhile the BRICS nation's are unloading US dollars and adding to our inflation. Joe Biden has us in a no win environment. It is very sad when ideologues with unproven theories get control of an economy.

With inflation running at a four-decade high, the Recession is now the ‘most likely outcome for the economy and I cannot imagine being a victim of circumstances. My portfolio suffered a big hit, holding it further won’t be any good. I've heard of people netting hundreds of thousands this red season. How can I ensure this?

A ton of the homes being built right now are for rent only… It doesn’t do anything to increase buyer inventory, price drops are just temporary until interest rates drop.

You are seeing the big issue is the people that treated their homes as a debt piggy bank are now on the credit card economy until they can get a 2nd or home equity for debt relief. Things you cant get when your house is upside down and your credit to debt ratio is out of control. This is looking like 2008 redux, the big short is coming im glad we chose to go mortgage free.

I think we are too obsessed about the economy crashing. In the right sense, the economy never crashes. It just undergoes cycles, and almost always recovers. So I really don't care what the predictions are. I just want to grow my portfolio. I read that people are pulling in massive profits despite the downturn. Any tips on how they do it?
