Eddie howe is doing a fab job, its like a keegan era has come back and its all about players that gel and not the money, obviously the money helps but i believe without money howe is the new kevin keegan. Past managers that were good after keegan were bobby robson absolute legend, pardew did well too, Houghton did well to and i believe they let them 2 managers go to early especially Houghton, big sam never had a chance really and steve bruce shouldn't of came to manage newcastle out of respect for sunderland.

I really hope Eddie gets the chance to become a Toon legend. I'm a Liverpool fan and I'm glad the King's of the North East, are back. Top fans, TOP ground, Top Atmosphere. Still to this day that Tony Yebowa SCREAMER against us is one my favourite goals, the 4-3 games just really happy after all they've been through the Toon Army are back.

And he hasn’t spend huge amounts of silly flops, he got mikes old buys, shining, what a manager, if I was his chairman I’d be so happy with him and I’d back him cos he wouldn’t make silly changes

Manager of the season for me. Half of his current first team were on the way out and fighting a relegation battle under Bruce. Unbelievable that he has taken these players to 3rd in the league, with the best defence. Surely manager of the season…

    Before 2022 / 2023 season started
I predicted the top 8 team at the end of the season and I put Newcastle in 3rd place man United 4th

    Liverpool 8 or 6 place.
    City first place

But people had a go at me when I said Newcastle would be above Liverpool

I said they have Eddie howe as manager

Brilliant, underrated manager who deserves more respect to his name. He doesn't get the plaudits off other football fans because he hasn't won trophies. When he does, a lot of people will be proven wrong.

Having just watched Newcastle demolish Spurs, I'd love to know what Howe said to his players after they were humbled by Aston Villa. He did a great job at Bournemouth and is doing an even greater one in Geordieland. Top man and a top manager.

How will the team respond when another team puts it on us like Villa did? Was it a one off? Brighton did that to us but we survived. Do the players feel the pressure of being in this position and other teams hunting us down or let the pressure of big games overwhelm them? Just playing devils advocate.
