u dunno if weapons would solve anything. I think the writing is on the wall ,They are in serious need of man power to use the weapons IF! they are transfferd. The other thing the usa has to concider is do they really want that many weapons being taken as spoil of war by enemy if they lose . Its tough beacuse not only does the u.s need weapns for national defence. They are also stretched thin to begin with by other world interests, poor recruitment rates and vast industrial military privtization. I believe 10 aircraft carriers are out on active duty now which is crazy when u think. my grandfather was a military man who taught me to hunt. he always said "always have more ammo than u need cause u dont want to be short son " Being short weapons or ammo is not excusable in war its a matter of national defence .its fine to play the victim but they had lots of time to make shells before all this espicially with conflict in area prior . Humans are horrible just look at history . Always have the ability to defend urself ,or negotiate.
