Pakistan struck by the year’s biggest attack on armed troops | This World
24 soldiers were killed in a suicide attack in Pakistan’s Dera Ismail Khan. Terrorists from the newly-formed group Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the gate of a police station. Following the attack, Pakistan summoned the Afghan envoy and asked for ‘verifiable actions against terrorist groups and their sanctuaries’.

In just 7 months, Russia has already hit its yearly missile production goals.
The targets: the deadly P-800 Oniks and hypersonic Zircon. The Oniks travels at Mach 2.5 with a 300kg warhead and flies sea-skimming, low to avoid radar. Analysts call it an “unstoppable” threat to ships and land sites. As Ukraine faces critical air defence gaps, Poland and the Baltics are fortifying key infrastructure against possible Russian sabotage. And production in Russia shows no signs of slowing down.
