    The Vatican's vast network of information about the entire world is now available to Communist China. Roman Catholicism no longer exists in China. What's left of it is an underground, persecuted church. The Chinese Catholic church is owned by the Communist party.

    I don't see evil there, I see a Pope in charge of the smallest State in the world squeezed under the pressure of the two biggest economies, Washington and Beijing, trying to do his best to help 100 million of Chinese people (1/14 of their population) to not be oppressed like the other minorities in there. It is politics involved? of course! But that man is saving more people than all US and UN sanctions and efforts combined are doing. And I am laic.

Former Pentagon adviser Douglas MacGregor has warned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be dragging the United States deeper into the ongoing conflict in West Asia. MacGregor said the war is likely to continue for weeks as tensions between Israel and Iran escalate and regional actors become increasingly involved.

He also warned that any move to close the Strait of Hormuz would be a “disaster” for global trade and energy markets. The strategic waterway is one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes, carrying a significant portion of global crude exports.
