    Man you are a legend ❤ I have been working with same company for over 4.5 years and didn't give interviews outside the company for quite a long time. Once I started giving interviews I understand the sector outside is tough to crack and you need a great prep for interviews. Sometimes you know everything but you fail to structure your expertise in such a way to impress the interviewer. Your content has been really a helpful resource and I hope you do more of these contents. God Bless you man you deserve a million subscribers.

There are five questions I always ask candidates in a job interview as a hiring manager. Here they are in the exact order.

Question number one, are you interviewing for any other positions? If the candidate says yes, I am interviewing for lots of different job roles! That is a red flag.

The second question I then ask them is… Please introduce yourself. This gives the candidate the opportunity to talk about the skills they have that match the job description.

The third question I ask is, why do you want this job? I want to hear the candidate say they want the job because they are passionate about the role and industry and they also want the job because they have researched my company and they are attracted to my positive workplace culture.

Now the fourth question I always ask is a really difficult one and that question is, what will you do in the first 30 days of starting work for my company. I want to hear the candidates say they have a plan.

And finally, question number five is, why should we hire you? I want to hear the candidate give me at least three reasons why I should hire them over the other candidates.

During a job interview, I will ask a candidate 5 tough questions. These 5 questions will quickly tell me whether or not I want to offer them the job! If you want to know what the 5 questions are, and more importantly how to answer them, stay tuned.

TOUGH QUESTION 1. Are you interviewing for any other positions? 01:56
I ask this question because I want to assess, very early on in the interview, whether the candidate is serious about working for my company. If they are interviewing for lots of different jobs, it tells me they might be more interested in a pay check rather than wanting to build a long-term successful career at my company.

So, let me now give two great answers this tough question. The first answer is for someone is not interviewing for other positions, and the second answer is for someone who is.

TOUGH QUESTION 2. Please Introduce Yourself. 03:39
Once the candidate has answered the first question, I will then give them the opportunity to talk about themselves. I ask them the question, introduce yourself, because it gives them the opportunity to tell me the skills, knowledge and experience they have that will add value in the role.

I do not want to hear the candidate talk about what they get up to outside of work, their family or relationship status or any personal problems they are going through.

The best way to answer the question INTRODUCE YOURSELF is to use my P.P.P structure – Past, Present and Plans for the future.

PAST – Begin your response by saying what you have been doing in the PAST regarding your education and work experience.

PRESENT – Then, talk about what you are doing right now in the PRESENT – the job role you currently have and any training courses you are enrolled in.

PLANS – Finally, tell the interviewer what your PLANS are for the future.

TOUGH QUESTION 3. Why Do You Want This Job? 06:53
The third question I always ask candidates is Why Do You Want This Job? I ask this question because I want to assess how passionate they are about their work. It is a well-known fact that if someone is passionate about their work, they will do a better job and they probably get more work completed than the average person. Here is a brilliant way to answer this tough question that is pretty much guaranteed to impress every hiring manager.

TOUGH QUESTION 4. What Will You Do In The First 30 Days Of Starting Work For My Company? 08:19
The fourth question I always ask candidates in job interviews is a really tricky one and this question separates the serious candidates from those who don’t have the self-motivation or organizational skills to succeed. The question is, What Will You Do In The First 30 Days Of Starting Work For My Company?

If the candidate responds by saying, “I’ll do whatever you ask me to do!” that tells me they will probably need lots of supervision in their work and I won’t offer them the job.

TOUGH QUESTION 5. Why Should We Hire You? 10:01
Now, the fifth question I always ask candidates in job interviews seems like an easy one to answer, but it isn’t! That question is: Why Should We Hire You?

I will use all of the candidate’s answers to determine which one is capable of adding the most value in the role. The worst answer you can give is to say, you should hire me because you’re hiring, and I need a job! Say that, and the interview won’t continue.

Another weak answer is where the candidate says, you should hire me because I am hard-working and a good team player! Again, that answer won’t get you hired.
