The World Health Organization has issued a fresh warning over the rapidly evolving Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, saying the virus may be spreading faster than initially believed. More than 500 suspected cases have now been reported, while infections have also crossed into neighbouring Uganda. Health officials fear the outbreak could widen further as investigations continue into possible cross-border transmission and containment failures.
