Japan , neglected the chinese threat and north korean threat since then . Now china and north korea is fully prepared to destroy them . Now japan is in rush for defense capability. I think its too late for them. Thier best way is to build their own nuclear missiles to counter china and north korea.

Same prediction with Russia on the days before it invaded Ukraine… Ukraine was said to be taken in 3 days… Months later still not…. Taiwan is more compact and well armed.. China has more to loose compare to Russia.. This will end up China using same tactic economic hostage and nuke to all the nation that will try to interfere…. Probably Iran will have to supply then with drone…

Japan can defeat China – China is a paper dragon. If China is not careful it could war its way back into poverty. China wants to be America, copying everything American, but they are just fooling themselves. They should make peace and copy American Democracy if anything – be like Taiwan and continue to get rich. If they persist in way of aggression, their beautiful cities will become ugly ruins. I feel for the people for they have no say in the matter.

The current situation we're in is due to the weakness of Japan, the US, and India. If those three nationals had an intelligent strategy and appropriately invested in their militaries, China wouldn't be in a position to threaten anyone.
