Recently, a high-ranking defence official from Australia warned U.S. and allies of the imminent threats in the Indo-Pacific region. Australia’s deputy defence secretary for strategy, Hugh Jeffrey, said that China and Russia have ramped up their weapons production and Australia and the U.S. must boost their own industrial cooperation as a result.
