Learn how to write numbers in standard form. Understanding how to write very large or very small numbers using standard form.

It is also important that you are able to convert standard form back in to numbers.

Standard form is relatively easy once you know how to convert numbers. This is is simply done by moving the decimal point to the left or right (depending on whether the number is large or small).
