TRAI has issued new telecom rules requiring operators to offer voice-and-SMS-only plans for every validity period of 30 days or less that they already offer as bundled data plans, at a reduced price. The move targets consumers who don’t need mobile data, including many senior citizens and low-income users.

Ukraine has carried out strikes deep inside Russian territory, targeting an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region and a Tu-95MS missile-carrying aircraft in Engels. The refinery was located around 1,000 kilometres from the front line. Ukraine also reported retaliatory strikes in the Black Sea, describing the attacks as a response to Russian strikes against Ukraine.
