When answering the question “What do you do in your free time?” it’s important to present a well-rounded and engaging picture of your interests and activities. Here are some tips on how to craft a strong response:

1. Be Genuine
Share Real Interests: Talk about activities you truly enjoy. Authenticity is key.
Avoid Generic Answers: Saying “I watch TV” without elaboration can come off as uninteresting.

2. Highlight Positive Traits
Showcase Skills or Traits: Mention hobbies that demonstrate positive qualities like creativity, discipline, or teamwork. For example, “I enjoy painting, which helps me stay creative and patient.”

3. Balance Your Answer

Tip 1 – This is a very difficult interview question to answer and it catches lots of people out! You must tell them something about you that is interesting and that also makes you stand out!
