Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has urged Iranians to remove what he called the “Ayatollah regime,” describing the current moment as a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to overthrow Iran’s Islamic government.

In a message posted on X, Netanyahu said Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “is no more” and claimed that Israel and the United States are targeting what he called the “tyrants of Tehran.”

The Israeli leader said the strikes are aimed at regime sites and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) missile launchers. Netanyahu also told Iranians that Israel seeks to avoid harm to Iranian civilians.

Ukraine has stepped up attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday (April 28), citing a recent drone strike on an oil refinery in the southern city of Tuapse.
