With Erik ten Hag under pressure at Man United, as well as West Ham, Wolves, Southampton and Everton all enduring tough starts to the Premier League season, we set ourselves a challenge: find the perfect manager for each of these clubs if they decide to part ways with their current one.

Is Thomas Tuchel actually the best candidate to take over from Ten Hag at Old Trafford, or is there another German coach who would be better suited to the job? Could Thomas Frank be tempted by a move across London to West Ham?

Who is best placed to keep Southampton in the Premier League? What kind of coach will Everton’s prospective owners the Friedkin Group target if Sean Dyche leaves? And is it time for Graham Potter to return to the Prem?
