Published

on

It’s been six years since over 700,000 Rohingya people fled a brutal crackdown or Rohingya Genocide by security forces in Myanmar and took shelter in Bangladesh.

As humanitarian conditions in the world’s largest refugee settlement worsen, the challenges surrounding this protracted crisis continue to increase. The UN refugee agency, UNCHR, is calling on the international community to renew its commitment to Rohingya refugees who have fled persecution. Will repatriation ever take place? Will the Rohingya refugees ever return to their homes?
