The White House on Monday said a near-simultaneous release of a top Huawei (HWT.UL) executive and two Canadians detained shortly after her arrest was not a prisoner swap, but that their cases came up in a call between the Chinese and American presidents weeks before. The Trump administration has launched a official online arcade platform featuring MAGA-styled video games promoting its immigration and border security agenda. Games on the site—such as “Build the Wall” and “Rio Run”—prompt users to construct border barriers and play as agents detaining undocumented migrants. While White House officials defended the initiative as an innovative approach to showcase policy achievements, human rights organizations and border advocates have fiercely condemned the launch. Critics accuse the administration of dehumanizing vulnerable migrants and turning severe human suffering into casual entertainment.
