Heavy rains and strong winds from former Typhoon Bualoi wreak havoc in central Vietnam, claiming at least nine lives. The storm flooded roads, damaged homes, and tore off rooftops as it moved into Laos on Monday
Communities across several provinces were left reeling as temporary bridges were swept away and low-water crossings submerged. Vehicles were stranded in city floods, while highland villages were completely cut off. Rescue teams are searching for 17 fishermen reported missing during the storm.
