The Taliban government in Afghanistan has lifted the ban on the country’s only women-run and women-oriented radio network, Radio Begum. Strict conditions and restrictions have however been imposed on its functioning. Inside South Asia looks at whether this is a signal of the Taliban easing on its prohibitions against women.
