Michael is joined by Joe Thomlinson and Sam Obaseki to debate cheaper alternatives to expensive transfer targets for Premier League clubs this summer!

We discuss Noni Madueke’s proposed move to Arsenal, with Chelsea asking for above £50 million for the English winger, who’s being touted as back-up to Bukayo Saka and an option to rival Gabriel Martinelli on the left. Should they instead try and broker a cheaper deal for Lyon wonderkid Malick Fofana, or go for a more versatile and experienced option like Borussia Dortmund star Julian Brandt?

Man United’ striker search is also up for debate. Ollie Watkins is likely to cost at least £60 million… is Fiorentina star Moise Kean at £45 million a better option, could they try and get Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface for even less, or should they focus more on free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
